Role Purpose We’re seeking a sharp, data‑driven professional to join our Commercial Forecasting team. This role contributes to high‑impact initiatives and works closely with clients and their cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate is skilled in building forecasting models and turning data into strategic insights. If you thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting—this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Lead client engagements by applying sound judgment, tracking deliverables, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Construct and maintain forecasting models for client portfolios, and communicate results effectively.
Develop and substantiate key forecasting inputs including assumptions, analogs, and market dynamics.
Maintain thorough documentation of forecasting methodologies and outputs.
Coordinate with internal and client teams to ensure alignment on forecasting assumptions across functions.
Support senior consultants and project leads in delivering strategic recommendations.
Contribute to cross‑functional discussions and integrate insights from various business units.
Present analytical findings and forecasts to PharmaACE leadership, clients, and relevant stakeholders.
Ensure consistent and transparent communication throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications
6-8 years of experience in pharma forecasting (or Masters with 4-8 years).
Hands‑on experience with Excel‑based forecasting models and data extraction using SQL from Redshift/Databricks platforms etc.
Prior exposure to long‑term and short‑term forecasting cycles at pharmaceutical/biotech firms for inline and pipeline assets.
Familiarity with IQVIA Databases, especially US, clinical trial databases and other secondary research data sources such as Clarivate/DRG, Thomson Reuters etc.
Strong communication skills and ability to present insights to stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Ability to automate forecasting workflows using Python or similar scripting tools.
Familiarity with AI‑driven reporting, scenario planning, and simulation platforms.
Strategic thinking and analytical problem‑solving.
Forecast model development and optimization.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.
