Job Title: Master SchedulerJob Description
Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand, inventory targets, and capacity constraints. Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Production teams to gather accurate job demand and lead time information. Use ERP/MRP systems, preferably Epicor, to release jobs, manage reschedules, and ensure material and labor availability. Analyze load vs. capacity and adjust schedules to avoid bottlenecks while optimizing machine and labor utilization. Monitor schedule adherence and provide regular reports on On-Time Delivery (OTD), Work In Progress (WIP), and Schedule Attainment. Resolve scheduling conflicts due to material shortages, labor constraints, or unexpected breakdowns. Support production meetings and provide visibility into upcoming work center loading and job priorities. Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce lead times and improve flow.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in production scheduling or planning in manufacturing environments.
Strong understanding of machining, welding, fabrication, assembly, and painting processes.
Proficient in ERP systems, with preference for Epicor Kinetic.
Experience in MTO, ETO, and MTS environments.
Ability to generate a Bill of Materials from prints.
Experience in high-mix, low-volume production settings.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong data analysis capabilities using Excel.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, kanban, and capacity planning.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with customizable products.
Exposure to ERP systems, particularly Epicor.
Work Environment
This role requires onsite presence from 8 am to 5 pm in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will have the opportunity to grow the department and take ownership of planning.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rathdrum, Idaho.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
