At U.S. Bank, we’re on a journey to enable customers, businesses, and communities to grow. This senior Cloud Operations Engineer will design, build, and maintain best‑in‑class cloud‑based software experiences while leading incident response and cloud governance. Essential Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain high‑performance cloud products. Own full‑stack development, writing production‑ready, testable code. Architect scalable, reliable, and secure systems following best practices. Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements. Make customer‑centric design and coding decisions. Conduct code reviews, mentor peers, and enforce compliance and security best practices. Embed software reliability engineering standards into every phase of development. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 5–6 years of relevant software engineering experience. Preferred Skills/Experience
Large‑scale cloud architecture and microservice design. Azure experience (AZ‑900 certification is a plus). DevOps pipeline and cloud migration expertise. Python, Java, C#, Spring Boot, Kafka, containerization, and React skills. High‑performance, distributed system design and performance tuning. Agile, performance‑centric engineering practices. Location Expectations
This hybrid role requires 3 or more days per week in‑office and flexibility for the remaining days. Benefits
