OVERVIEW
The System Administrator’s role is to manage and tune in‑house computer software systems and network connections to ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported business applications. The incumbent participates in planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure provisioning and maintenance are consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. COMPENSATION
$85,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience. LOCATION & ATTENDANCE
Full‑time, office‑based position in Lakewood, CO. Remote work is not accepted; occasional travel to other offices is required. APPLICATION PROCESS

General:

Specific:
Strategy & Planning:
Participate in capacity planning and develop long‑term strategic goals for systems and software with end‑users and department managers. Acquisition & Deployment:
Coordinate with network engineering, business application, and database administration to implement desktop and server systems that meet corporate objectives. Deploy and maintain workstations, servers, printers, scanners, and host security systems. Operational Management:
Manage all operating systems and end‑user software; increase performance of enterprise systems; resolve network connectivity and communication issues; maintain security of enterprise data; manage printers, scanners, and end‑user accounts; test and restore routine backup software; troubleshoot hardware and software problems; maintain comprehensive hardware and software inventories; analyze performance; recommend and schedule improvements; conduct research on emerging products; develop policies, procedures, and training plans; guide junior team members; perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Applicable data privacy practices and laws. Broad Microsoft Infrastructure experience, including current and future Windows OS, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, collaborative communications, workspaces. Intune Management and Deployment. Windows PowerShell scripting for automation or maintenance. Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, sites & services. Strong TCP/IP networking in LAN and WAN environment. Setup, support, and configuration of workstations and package deployment with Intune and NinjaOne. Zendesk ticketing system usage and knowledge base article maintenance. Knowledge of FortiNet products (plus). SOFTWARE & HARDWARE TESING & DOCUMENTATION
Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills at all levels. Network and security knowledge. Software and hardware troubleshooting. Documentation of configuration and process information. Exceptional customer service. Analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Interpersonal and oral communication. Reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation. Attention to detail. Team‑oriented collaborative environment. Microsoft Office 365 backend infrastructure management (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). Windows Azure IaaS. Familiarity with construction software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam (plus). JOB QUALIFICATIONS
College diploma or university degree in computer science or equivalent work experience (3+ years). Certifications in Microsoft (MSCA, MSCE) or Cisco (CCNA) preferred. Limited local travel required. BENEFITS
