Software Developer 4 – Oracle
Join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Networking team to build large-scale, distributed infrastructure that powers our multi-tenant cloud services.
Responsibilities
Design and develop tooling and infrastructure to manage a growing fleet of networking devices, including deployment, monitoring, and patching.
Automate build and test systems, and run performance and scalability tests.
Improve deployment processes across regions through automation and scale improvements to tools and dashboards.
Participate in the on-call rotation to monitor network fleet and associated services.
Develop runbooks, alarms, and tools to enhance operational capabilities.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
Distributed systems experience.
5+ years of Java programming experience.
4+ years of Python programming experience.
2+ years of DevOps experience.
Proficiency with build tools and pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in CI/CD environments.
Experience with Agile development.
Prior cloud experience.
Experience automating management of networking devices.
