How You’ll Make an Impact As a Sales and Business Development associate, you will:
Develop new revenue by selling tailored risk protection to small‑to‑mid‑size companies.
Provide exceptional client service, retaining and expanding existing accounts.
Collaborate with teammates and support staff to close deals and grow the pipeline.
Manage overall client relationships with day‑to‑day account stewardship.
Educate and mentor junior staff on client acquisition and account service.
Apply industry technologies to new sales, additional sales to existing clients, and account service.
Prepare and execute an individual business plan and production budget.
Maintain interdivision and intercompany relationships in line with corporate culture.
About You
Required: Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of related experience *or* Bachelor’s degree, participation in Gallagher’s Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing *or* High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of experience.
Preferred: Professional designation such as CEBS, CPCU, CIC, or ARM.
Behaviors: Act independently with minimal direction; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits Base salary range:
$113,000.00/yr - $220,500.00/yr . Actual compensation will consider experience, education, market, and other factors. In addition to a competitive salary, you will enjoy a broad benefits package.
