Reports to the Executive Director or Vice President. Responsible for the around-the-clock management and direction of the patient care area. Coordinates staff, ensures quality cost-effective care, and manages clinical and financial performance. Mission, Values and Service Goals

Oversee patient care operations and coordinate quality improvement programs. Develop vision, strategy, and operational goals. Develop and maintain staffing plans and evaluate program performance. Prepare and manage annual capital & operating budgets, monitor financial reports. Ensure compliance with licensure, accreditation, and policy enforcement. Implement clinical and service quality standards, monitor performance, initiate corrective actions. Authorize hiring, orientation, training, evaluation, and discharge of staff. Maintain safe, clean, and orderly patient care environment. Investigate personnel issues and enforce disciplinary action. Foster collaborative relationships among disciplines and departments. Other Functions
Complete other assignments/projects as directed. Collaborate with medical staff and administration on utilization management. Participate in nursing, hospital, and community committees. Leadership Competencies

Attend department meetings, complete mandatory education. Maintain licensing and certifications, including BCLS (CPR). Apply universal precautions and ergonomic techniques. Adhere to regulatory requirements and compliance. Commitment to Beacon Way

Master of Science Degree in Nursing or related field. Registered Nurse license in Indiana. 2-5 years of related experience; supervisory experience required. Knowledge & Skills
Coaching and facilitation. Business and human resource skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of leadership for planning, staffing, evaluating healthcare management. Problem solving and decision making. Proactive, results‑oriented approach. Working Conditions
Office and patient care environment, contact with staff, patients, families, agencies. Schedule flexibility; 24/7 operation. Physical Demands
