Key Responsibilities / Outcomes
Lead the strategy and vision supporting the NA business strategy by developing and managing processes in purchasing, planning, customer service, warehouse/logistics, and value analysis.
Develop and implement a supply‑chain vision and strategy that limits costs and improves accuracy, customer service, and safety.
Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving.
Analyze inventories to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
Monitor forecasts to identify changes or determine their impact on supply‑chain activities.
Develop procedures for coordination of supply‑chain management with other functional areas.
Document physical supply‑chain processes, workflows, cycle times, roles, and system flows.
Lead implementation of new and improved supply‑chain processes.
Participate in coordination of product portfolio changes, product line extensions, or new product launches.
Design or implement both plant and 3PL warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products.
Assess appropriate material‑handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, and store materials.
Define key performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply‑chain factors.
Lead implementation of new or improved ERP systems and tools and optimize their use.
Provide leadership that inspires and motivates others to act as a high‑performing team.
Build a world‑class team that sustains Buckman’s competitive advantage by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.

Minimum Requirements for Consideration
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Operations Management.
APICS, ASCM, ASQ, APS certification or equivalent required.
Ten or more years leading a NA supply‑chain planning or operations organization.
Ability to lead in a fast‑moving, collaborative matrixed organization.
Experience configuring, optimizing, and day‑to‑day supply‑chain execution utilizing SAP.
