Job Summary In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic, fluoroscopic, and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision under the general direction of a radiologist and radiology administration. The incumbent shall comply with all applicable laws, rules, and Dignity Health Standards of Conduct, and shall assist in risk evaluation and collaboration with facility leaders to implement corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program.

Position Summary The Radiologic Technologist must have satisfactorily completed a formal radiologic technology training program accredited through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the California Department of Public Health Radiation Health Branch (CDPH-RHB). AHA Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) is required, and Diagnostic Radiology (CRT) is mandatory. Additional certifications required within specified timeframes include Fluoroscopy and venipuncture, CT RTT, and other radiology technologist certifications as outlined below.

Must have completed a JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program and CDPH-RHB certification.

AHA Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Diagnostic Radiology Required (CRT).

Letter from ARRT status: an employee who has passed the exam will be accepted in lieu of Diagnostic certificate for up to 6 months (then Diagnostic Cert required).

Fluoroscopy and venipuncture certificate due within 6 months of hire or placement.

RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST (CT RTT); RADIOLOGIC HEALTH FLOUROSCOPY (RG RHF) required within 90 days of hire; BASIC LIFE SUPPORT-AHA (CT CPRBLS); ARRT.

Preferred Certifications

RADIOLOGIC HEALTH MAMMOGRAPHY (RG RHM).

Pay Range $64.32 - $71.17 per hour.
