Position Summary
The Director of Business Development leads all marketing, sales, and development activities for Cincinnati Rehabilitation Hospital. This role coordinates between internal and external referral sources, collaborates with the Medical Director to identify patients who meet inpatient rehabilitation requirements, and manages relationships with case coordinators, physicians, payors, and other referral sources. Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain referral relationships and territory development. Train, coach, and provide feedback to liaison teams on the entire admission process. Ensure appropriate patient placement through clinical screenings and assessments in collaboration with Case Coordination and the Medical Director. Complete all CEO‑requested reports, including monthly referrals, admissions, conversion, compliance, territory development, and clinical competency assessments. Audit and review system performance, conduct ride‑alongs, and provide overall direction for all admissions and referral processes. Minimum Qualifications
Current clinical license or comparable experience managing inpatient rehabilitation facilities. Valid driver’s license. Desired Qualifications
Experience in inpatient rehabilitation. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, time‑management, and prioritization skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Detail‑oriented and able to meet strict time frames. Benefits
