Director of Payor Contracting, Negotiation, and Strategy . The Payor Partnerships team manages a $8B commercial revenue portfolio and a high-growth national integrated care business that encompasses more than $5B of medical spend. Director of Payor Contracting, Negotiation, and Strategy , you will have extensive interaction with senior leaders across Payor Partnerships, Operations, Finance, Strategy, M&A, and DaVita's ancillary business lines, providing excellent visibility within the DaVita Village. You will serve as a leader and mentor within the broader Payor Partnerships team. This position is based in Denver, Colorado. Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of over 100 payor relationships and contracts, executing on team strategies related to growth, yield, relations, and value-based care. Build relationships across diverse internal and external teams, including operations, legal, collections, and business development. Develop complex financial proposals to support relationship and business objectives. Lead payor negotiations, including new contract negotiations, renegotiations, and termination events, projecting managing cross-functional teams including analysts, legal, strategy, and senior executives. Develop creative solutions to overcome barriers in negotiations, particularly around proposal development, economics, and contract language drafting. Be a highly visible partner and primary liaison to dialysis facility operations leaders, including VPs and Regional Directors. Support business development efforts, including creating presentation materials. Assist in shaping DaVita's strategy within the evolving healthcare landscape. Manage and oversee the implementation of contracts. Create presentation and communication materials for senior executives. Serve as an escalation point for payor-related issues, working with cross-functional teams for resolution. Organize payor meetings and joint operating committees to discuss clinical outcomes, initiatives, and partnership opportunities. Manage a contract manager supporting your payor portfolio. Minimum Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in complex deal execution and relationship management. Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Preference for candidates with a competitive spirit and sophisticated negotiation experience. Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills. Critical thinking, analytics, and problem-solving skills. High-impact oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Healthcare experience, particularly in managed care, is a plus. Availability for up to 20% travel. Additional Success Factors
