Job Description You will be the Lead System Architect for the Shared Simulation Software (SSS) team. Our team designs, develops, and maintains high‑fidelity simulation software that supports multiple aircraft platforms across Lockheed Martin, enabling accurate mission‑level modeling and rapid integration for development and test programs.
What You Will Be Doing
Define the long‑term technical vision for the SSS portfolio and ensure all engineering work aligns with that vision.
Create and maintain an Architectural Roadmap outlining future capabilities, technology standards, and migration paths.
Define system‑design guidelines and enforce compliance across all engineering deliverables to guarantee consistency, scalability, and re‑usability.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the SSS engineers, review designs, and guide implementation to meet performance and fidelity goals.
Support multiple aircraft simulation platforms by integrating new models, tools, and interfaces, and coordinate with cross‑functional program teams to align simulation solutions with program requirements.

Location This position is in Fort Worth, TX.
Security Clearance Must be a US Citizen and obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance. Must pass a drug and background check and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Familiar with LM Digital Transformation Strategies
Experience as an Agile Product Owner
Large scale complex software development experience
Knowledge of Fifth Generation fighter aircraft
Experience in developing system design for MITL/HITL Simulations/Stimulations
Familiar with SysML, Cameo and/or Rhapsody
Sensor modeling experience
Familiar with the Work Product Evaluation (WPE) process
