Eigen Labs
to help build a more trustworthy internet with verifiable computing.
About the Company Eigen Labs builds an infrastructure that lets developers build applications with mathematical trust guarantees. Built on EigenLayer protocol, EigenCloud lets developers create verifiable services without re‑writing in specialized blockchain languages.
Role Overview You will collaborate directly with R&D to convert ambiguous problem statements into production‑ready software and high‑fidelity demos. You will partner with Design to map user flows, implement services and UIs, instrument features, and own outcomes end‑to‑end.
Responsibilities
Own features end‑to‑end: from design document to prototype.
Build polished consumer‑grade UI/UX (fast, intuitive, minimal surprises).
Ship full‑stack product surfaces (Next.js/React front, TypeScript/Node, Go or Python back).
Build games (optional).
Stand up and manage infra: Docker, cloud, databases, queues, observability.
Add instrumentation (analytics, logging), run experiments, and measure outcomes.
Collaborate tightly with design, product, research, and partnerships.
Maintain quality with code reviews, testing, and post‑mortems.
Qualifications
Full‑stack fluency : React/Next.js (or similar) and at least one backend runtime (TypeScript/Node, Go, or Python). Experience designing APIs, modeling data, and real‑time systems.
Infra pragmatism : Containerize with Docker; basic cloud (AWS/GCP/Vercel/Cloudflare); CI/CD; observability (logs, traces, dashboards).
Learning velocity : Pick up new frameworks, APIs, and tools quickly and ship simplest solutions.
High agency & ownership : Decompose fuzzy problems into milestones, unblock yourself, and drive ideas from plan → build → launch → refine.
Cross‑functional collaboration : Work smoothly with design, research, and partnerships; communicate trade‑offs clearly and keep stakeholders aligned.
Quality mindset : Tests, performance profiling, accessibility basics, and instrument analytics/telemetry.
Bonus Points
Links to shipped projects (deployed) with short write‑up of role and key decisions.
Demos / GIFs / screens that showcase UX polish.
Minecraft Modded Servers (optional).
Notable internships, OSS contributions, hackathon wins, or side projects with real users.
BS in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g., physics or mathematics).
Target Salary Salary range: $130,000–$150,000 (U.S. Tier 1 markets). Total compensation may include short‑ and long‑term incentives and program‑specific awards.
Benefits
