Position Overview The Marketing Coordinator supports Sushi Maki’s marketing initiatives across digital, in-store, and community channels. This role assists with campaign execution, social media management, content development, and event coordination to build brand awareness, drive traffic, and strengthen guest loyalty.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Coordinator must be organized, creative, and adaptable, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on experience in marketing communications, digital platforms, and content creation, along with enthusiasm and curiosity for sustainable sushi, hospitality, and food culture.

Key Responsibilities

Support planning and execution of marketing campaigns to increase in‑store visits, digital sales, and brand visibility.

Coordinate photoshoots, influencer partnerships, and social media content creation featuring our sustainable sushi and brand story.

Manage and monitor Sushi Maki’s social media channels, ensuring consistent brand voice, visuals, and engagement.

Assist with email marketing initiatives, including scheduling, testing, and performance tracking.

Maintain marketing calendars, timelines, and deliverables for campaigns and promotions.

Coordinate creative assets, printing, and vendor relationships.

Utilize content management (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, WordPress, and Metricool.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Operations, HR, Culinary, and Guest Services) to support companywide promotions and initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

1–3 years of relevant marketing experience (hospitality or restaurant industry preferred).

Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Metricool, Canva).

Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management platforms.

Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Creative thinker with an eye for visuals and storytelling.

Collaborative, resourceful, and committed to delivering quality work in a fast‑moving environment.

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay : $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
