Your Role And Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced Marine industry Sales Manager for Propulsion Solutions at ABB, Marine and Ports business line. In this position, you will be part of our sales team with a global customer base. You will be responsible for the ABB Marine Azipod® front end sales activities for assigned markets directly, as well as promoting the wider portfolio of ABB Marine. Your daily work consists of leading sales negotiations, closing deals, customer relationships and value selling.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
Establishing and maintaining effective client relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of ABB Marine & Ports products/systems/services offering, and aligning with them to provide a solution.
Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated area.
Creating added value for the client and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques.
Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicating value proposition to clients.
Designing offers, pricing, contract performance in coordination with bid and proposal team.
Qualifications For The Role
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or engineering with strong business acumen.
5-10 years of experience in sales management / pricing / bid management / contract management preferably from maritime industry.
Hands‑on with complex B2B contracts, track record in negotiations and risk management.
Ambitious mindset and you have strong positive attitude.
You have a “nose” for identifying opportunities and clear and structured communicator.
