Associate Engagement Manager, A2C ProServe Shared Delivery (SDT) Job Summary: The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. The EM combines technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions. The EM bridges business requirements with technical solutions, facilitates technical discussions, and ensures alignment with customer outcomes. The EM applies AWS frameworks such as Well‑Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework and demonstrates technical credibility across diverse stakeholders. The EM distills customer needs into clear technical requirements, deconstructs complex problems, and makes informed trade‑off decisions considering performance, scalability, security, and business impact. The EM validates technical solutions against business goals, recognizes when additional technical evaluation is needed, and manages technical risks. The EM maintains relevant AWS certifications, develops domain‑specific expertise, and effectively communicates technical concepts to both technical and business audiences. The EM leads increasingly complex technical projects, shapes cross‑organizational technical strategies, and establishes best practices in its domain. The EM applies management and leadership capabilities to successfully execute project plans, proactively identify and manage risks, resolve issues, and drive projects to successful completion while exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage complex cloud migration and implementation projects.

Leverage comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning.

Bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitate engineering discussions, and ensure alignment with customer business outcomes.

Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes.

Decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions.

Contribute to technical documentation and define documentation standards.

Basic Qualifications

Experience in project management.

Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.

3+ years of cloud‑based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network, and operating system experience.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of professional work experience or experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.

Experience representing your team or technical area to senior management.

Knowledge of AWS or cloud technologies.
