Responsibilities

Perform sample preparation for mass spectrometry‑based proteomic analyses using automated liquid handling systems.

Analyze, document, and report results from a variety of mass spectrometry‑based proteomic assays.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high‑throughput mass spectrometers (e.g., Astral, timsTOF HT).

Operate and maintain additional laboratory equipment, including liquid handlers.

Manage laboratory supplies and maintain inventory; enforce and uphold lab safety standards.

Actively contribute to seminars and meetings through participation and presentations.

Basic Qualifications

Master’s degree and 1 year of laboratory experience.

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of laboratory experience.

Complete understanding and use of technical principles, theories, and concepts to perform a wide range of scientific work.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of scientific laboratory experience.

Technical understanding of mass spectrometry principles and data analysis methods for quantitative proteomics.

Proficiency in LC‑MS sample preparation for diverse proteomics assays utilizing automated liquid handling platforms (e.g., Opentrons, Agilent Bravo AssayMAP, KingFisher).

Proven experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining high‑resolution mass spectrometers (e.g., Astral, timsTOF HT).

Ability to work effectively in a highly integrated, collaborative team environment, with excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, and a proven track record of producing reliable and reproducible results.

Salary & Compensation Salary range: $95,568.00 – $113,781.00 USD.
