Responsibilities
Support the launch and pull‑through activities for Yorvipath, ensuring Ascendis Pharma is viewed as a valued partner to healthcare professionals and their patients.
Engage in customized discussions and in‑person interactions based on customer needs, educating on approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on‑label prescribing.
Drive outstanding sales performance that ensures sales forecasts are met or exceeded, using assigned budgets to achieve therapeutic and territory expectations.
Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, business models, and key influencers, routinely sharing insights with Ascendis stakeholders.
Collaborate with customers and accounts to identify business opportunities, develop and execute a business plan that achieves all sales objectives, and manage formulary approvals and other opportunities.
Demonstrate administrative excellence in managing work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, sample and expense reporting, and other administrative items.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of previous sales experience in a specialty sales environment, preferably rare disease and injectable experience, adult endocrinology disease state experience preferred.
Experience in a new product launch environment preferred.
Proven history of strong performance and the ability to collaborate with peers and across functions.
Experience working with complex distribution systems and HUB services to ensure smooth customer experience.
Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress against objectives and identify new opportunities.
Must be a self‑starter with excellent decision‑making, judgment, and ethics.
Ability to meet all credentialing requirements at all times; valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
Overnight travel required.
