Senior Civil Engineer – Advanced Manufacturing Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing group. The position involves working on state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities. You will be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gaining familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize initial civil design for land/site development, prepare grading plans, and perform earthwork and drainage/stormwater calculations.

Site development, site master planning and site selection.

Underground utility routing and site space planning.

Hydrology analysis for designing storm drain systems.

Analyzing and designing gravitational wastewater systems.

Perform final grading plans including cut and fill analysis and earthwork balancing.

Provide erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans and support permit approval.

Research local AHJ requirements for design and construction in any given area.

Stormwater analysis and modeling in software applications such as StormCAD and CivilStorm.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

8 or more years of engineering experience, including extensive related project experience.

Strong working knowledge and experience in analyzing and designing all aspects of medium to large scale industrial developments.

Demonstrated experience with all design modules of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.

Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi‑disciplinary teams.

Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.

Preferred Qualifications

PE certification.

Bluebeam experience.

Experience using Navisworks.

Benefits and Compensation Base salary range: $132,900.00 – $174,450.00 per year.
