Responsibilities Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute an IT strategy that aligns with business objectives.

Manage IT operations across multiple countries with consistency, compliance, and scalability.

Direct IT budgeting, resource allocation, and technology roadmaps.

Evaluate and introduce new technologies for improved efficiency and expansion.

Systems & Infrastructure

Inventory of all servers, cloud services, and enterprise systems.

Network architecture (LAN/WAN, VLANs, subnets, firewalls).

Physical and virtual data centers, IP address management, and DNS configurations.

Deliver internet services and ensure high availability.

Security & Compliance

Lead cybersecurity efforts, including policies, incident response, and risk management.

Manage firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, SIEM systems, and MFA systems.

Ensure compliance with data protection regulations in all areas of operation.

Conduct security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability remediation.

Access & Credential Management

Administer privileged accounts, password safes, and MFA tokens.

Manage web domain access, including registrar accounts, DNS, and SSL certificate renewals.

Enforce system, facility, and application access policies.

Hardware, Inventory & Procurement

Monitor IT asset inventory across all sites.

Manage lifecycle planning, warranties, and refresh cycles.

Oversee procurement and vendor selection processes.

Enterprise Applications & Licensing

Manage ERP, CRM, collaboration software, and specialty business systems.

Oversee licensing, renewals, and compliance.

Document system configurations, integrations, and automation.

Networking & Communications

Manage internet connectivity, redundancy, and performance.

Oversee VoIP/PBX systems and unified communications.

Maintain secure and segmented Wi‑Fi networks.

Facilities & Physical Security

Maintain server room security and environmental controls (UPS, generators, cooling).

Manage surveillance systems and retention policies.

Coordinate with facilities groups for IT‑related infrastructure.

Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

Create backup schedules, retention policies, and encryption standards.

Lead disaster recovery planning, testing, and improvements.

Meet RTO and RPO targets.

Vendor & Partner Management

Manage MSP, hardware/software vendor, and service provider relationships.

Negotiate and impose SLAs.

Maintain key vendor contacts and escalation procedures up to date.

IT Infrastructure Projects & Issue Management

Lead IT projects, upgrades, migrations, and rollouts.

Monitor and resolve ongoing technical problems.

Present regular executive updates.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5+ years of senior management.

Applicable certifications highly desired (CISSP, CISM, CCNP, PMP, ITIL).

Demonstrated experience in managing IT functions in multiple locations or countries.

Expert‑level knowledge in infrastructure, networking, security, and enterprise systems.

Successful history with large‑scale system migrations and upgrades.

Vendor management and SLA negotiation experience.

Strong leadership and team development across geographies.

Strategic thinker with strong execution skills.

Excellent communication for executive and cross‑functional collaboration.

High integrity and confidentiality.

Technical Skills

Networking (LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls) and IP management.

ERP, CRM, and collaboration platforms (NetSuite a plus).

Access control, password management, and MFA systems.

Domain/DNS management and SSL certificate administration.

Backup, disaster recovery, and cloud‑based resilience tools.

Enterprise telephony.
