As a Security Professional Government Patrol Specialist in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real‑estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security‑related concerns to the appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Document incidents and complete required reports accurately and promptly as directed by site‑specific policies.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Follow all site‑specific procedures and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of two years of security‑related experience is required. Verification will be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must provide diploma or transcripts.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
