Your role

As an IT Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in empowering our teams by delivering responsive, first-line technical support. Reporting to the IT Team Leader, you'll focus on collaboration, problem-solving, and proactive maintenance. This role ensures our information systems and end‑user devices operate seamlessly, enabling innovation and productivity across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Act as the first point of contact for IT issues, resolve level 1 support requests and elevate complex issues as needed, and ensure timely response and resolution of help desk tickets.
  • Device & System Management: Support daily use of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Perform computer set ups and imaging following standard procedures. Assist with onboarding/offboarding, including account setup and equipment prep.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support actions and resolutions.
  • Compliance: Follow company safety standards, IT policies, and data security guidelines.

Qualifications

  • You have at least 1 year of experience working in a help desk or technical support function.
  • You have at least 1 year with hard drive imaging and PC build processes.
  • You are familiar with help desk/ticketing systems and handling level 1 support tickets.
  • You have a strong ability to troubleshoot software, hardware, and basic networking issues.
  • You can prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast paced environment.
