About the Role Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH)
is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our
Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT)
in
Raleigh, North Carolina , for
24 hours per week .
Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric services, including evaluation, medication management, and outpatient psychotherapy in a community setting.
Identify appropriate evidence-based or emerging best practice models to be employed by staff in providing services.
Ensure coordination between mental health/substance use services and primary physical health providers.
Consult with primary health providers on the clinical aspects of individuals being served and the implications for overall healthcare needs.

Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution with an active, unrestricted license to practice in North Carolina.
Current Board Certification in Psychiatry; ASAM-certified or eligible.
Five (5) or more years of experience providing services to individuals living with mental illness.
Experience treating individuals living with severe mental illness, including Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Bipolar I with Psychosis.
