Accounting Manager
Our client, a private real estate investment firm, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead fund accounting and financial reporting. Location: San Francisco, CA. This position is hybrid, with in-office expectations 4 days per week. This is a hands‑on role within a small, collaborative team, reporting directly to the CFO. Responsibilities
Review monthly operating reports and perform variance analysis Oversee quarterly investor reporting and waterfall calculations Prepare fund and property-level performance reports Coordinate year‑end audits and tax filings Manage capital calls, distributions, and compliance reporting Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred 5-6 years of fund accounting experience, ideally in real estate Strong GAAP and fair value accounting knowledge Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and financial modeling Excellent organizational and communication skills Compensation
