Riverview Behavioral Health is a 62-bed inpatient hospital treating individuals with a mental health primary diagnosis from ages twelve and up. The treatment center serves the greater southwest Arkansas region and offers a confidential, caring environment that promotes crisis resolution and personal growth in a 24/7 safe environment.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat mental illnesses through personal counseling, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication.
Provide clinical services to patients at the facility.
Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations and facility policy.
Review medical information to ensure stability and offer recommendations.
Evaluate patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
Treat or direct treatment of patients using psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
Review and complete medical information for individual care plans and documents services in a timely manner.
Maintain confidential documentation, compliance, and billing in accordance with policy and procedures.
Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
One or more years’ post‑graduate degree practice preferred.
Licensed in the state in which the facility operates.
Licenses/Certifications
Board certification in psychiatry.
Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state.
