Overview
Join TSP, a Syneos Health company, as a Regional Business Director (RBD) to lead commercial activities for assigned geography, build a team of Account Managers, execute marketing strategies, and drive successful product launches. The role focuses on our growth brand for Major Depressive Disorder in Adults – Auvelity. Field‑based with travel required to develop internal and external relationships.
Responsibilities
The RBD will: Supervise regional operations, driving results, hiring, coaching, account‐manager development, and performance management. Develop and implement strategic plans, balancing live/virtual interactions and prioritizing key accounts. Lead performance initiatives to achieve business potential through direct report coaching. Maintain effective cross‑channel communication among region members, Accounts, and Market Access teams. Maintain product and business expertise to address customer inquiries. Execute regional business plans, manage budgets, and be accountable for P&L. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and processes. Travel overnight as needed by business.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have: BA or BS degree (advanced degree preferred). 5+ years of field leadership or payer account management with proven sales success. Experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical marketing. Demonstrated ability to coach and develop teams to achieve results. Track record of attracting and retaining top talent. Strong knowledge of psychiatry market preferred; launch experience preferred. Digital marketing aptitude and strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Must reside within the territory’s geography.
Salary & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role is $175,000 – $205,000. The package includes an annual bonus, significant equity, and a generous benefits package.
