Job Description
Description:

Dietitian Live is transforming healthcare through language and human connection. We’re building the first nationwide network of Registered Dietitians trained in linguistic neuroplasticity—the science of using language to rewire the brain for lasting change.

The HR Generalist supports all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, performance tracking, terminations, and exit interviews. This role also assists with payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys variety, collaboration, and operational excellence in a fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner across teams to support all stages of the employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, terminations, and cycle/exit interviews.
  • Administer HR systems (Paylocity) including personnel changes, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Assist with payroll preparation, audits, and off-cycle adjustments in coordination with Finance.
  • Support benefits enrollments, qualifying life events, and employee inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to post jobs, coordinate interviews, and issue offers.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Support handbook updates, HR policies, and process documentation.
  • Help design and deliver engagement, recognition, and training initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure HR programs align with DL’s culture frameworks (ALIGN and LIGHT).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of HR generalist experience with exposure to payroll and benefits.
  • Experience using Paylocity or a comparable HRIS/payroll platform.
  • Knowledge of multi-state employment laws and compliance practices.
  • Strong communication, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote, high-growth, team-based environment.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred but not required.
