Now Hiring: Join a team dynamic Human Resources Department as we are seeking a Human Resources Generalist that will assist with daily internal and external HR-related matters. Provide comprehensive HR support, directly or indirectly in the area of recruitment, conducting reference checks, compensation, benefits, leaves, continuous performance coaching and management, pro-active issue/problem identification and resolution, coaching and development for more effective leadership decision and communication skills. This position is also responsible for Managing the company’s employee database, conducting audits, produce and submit reports on general HR activity to Director of HR.
Build relationships with Business Leaders allowing for better decisions and organizational effectiveness.

Essential Job Functions
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Conduct HR metric audits and analyses. Compensation, turnover, EEO1, ACA, OSHA requirements, etc.
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes, reference checks, background, MVR, and Drug screenings when needed.
- Assist in developing, executing HR procedures, policies and providing guidance and interpretation.
- Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements.
- Suggest new ideas, procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of the HR department and company.
- Assist in administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with the development of formal Pay scale and SOP’s.
- Stay current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
- Monitor HR metrics (e.g. source of hire, time-to-hire, and time-to-fill, etc.)
- Assist with the preparation of the annual performance review process.
- Maintain employee files current in ADP.
- Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests including benefits, leaves, PTO and other HR related questions.
- Coordinate training sessions and HR/Company communications.
- Conduct entrance interviews and assist with yearly Open Enrollments.
- Update job knowledge by keeping up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Other HR related duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- 5 or more years’ experience in Human Resources w/ proven experience as an HR Generalist. (Degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered)
- Deep understanding and exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
- Full understanding of general human resources policies, procedures, functions and best practices.
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organization and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft products is a must.
