Revit/BIM Design Specialist

Allied Technologies Food Equipment We are looking for an experienced Revit/BIM Modeler Design Specialist with expertise in ductwork and exhaust systems to create, manage, and coordinate detailed BIM models using Autodesk Revit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural or MEP modeling and experience in creating detailed ventilation models, including ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts focusing on commercial kitchen exhaust systems. Possible remote position within our five-state region (Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky). Job Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for architectural, structural, or MEP systems using Revit. Perform clash detection and coordination. Produce high-quality construction documents and shop drawings from BIM models. Deliver accurate and efficient designs in a collaborative environment. Read and interpret design drawings. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to optimize model performance. Stay updated on industry trends and Revit software advancements. Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in BIM modeling with Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structure, or MEP). Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and related BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, Dynamo is a plus). Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and producing construction documentation. A knowledge of electrical schematics and design is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of ASHRAE guidelines and local building codes required. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required). Revit certification or advanced training is a plus. Company Description
