STAFF SERVICES MANAGER I – Caltrans District 3 Position: Staff Services Manager I Location: San Bernardino County Salary: $7,172.00 – $8,910.00 per month (New to State candidates hired at minimum salary)

Responsibilities Under the general direction of a Staff Services Manager II, the incumbent will be responsible for division‑wide technical labor compliance support for the administration of construction "public works" contracts, database management, information tracking, training, research, legislative analysis, audits, compliant investigations, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program. The incumbent plans, organizes, directs, and supervises the work of the District labor compliance unit and will act as the Title VI representative for the Division of Construction. Incumbent must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license when operating State vehicles. Work assignment is based on Divisional and/or Departmental needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Active California driver’s license (valid when operating State vehicles)

Minimum of three (3) years experience in labor compliance, construction contract administration, or related field (statements of qualifications required)

State examination eligibility (exam score, list eligibility, or new to state civil services employment)
