The Employment Development Department (EDD), Document Management Division (DMD) is searching for a motivated, skilled, and challenge-seeking individual who enjoys innovation, problem solving, and is interested in working with an exciting team of professionals in a fast-paced environment. Under the general direction of a Staff Services Manager II, the incumbent is responsible for managing the Banking and Scanning Group. This group is responsible for the receipt and processing of remittance and non-remittance work items for imaging and capturing; the daily depositing and balancing of all employer tax and recovery remittances. Additionally, the position leads a team of analysts whose responsibility include managing projects, conducting legislative bill analyses, leads training efforts, generates data reports, and recommends process improvement measures. The incumbent must ensure that all staff performance expectations are met, provides resources, training and leadership to staff. The incumbent must have strong organizational and communication abilities (written and verbal) to support the EDD's mission, vision, values, and business priorities.
