About the Role
This role requires a seasoned professional with strong technical background to support retail system technologies.
Responsibilities
Maintain the health, stability, and performance of the retail environment.
Implement system upgrades, manage hardware/software configurations, and support integrations with third‑party tools.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including store operations, IT infrastructure, network teams, and external vendors.
Support roll‑out of POS features and new store technologies.
Resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and support break/fix scenarios.
Scope (Percentages)
Systems Administration, Monitoring, and Maintenance – 50%
– Daily checks, OS updates, configuration changes, documentation, security compliance, user account management, technical query resolution, PowerShell scripting.
Retail Operations Support – 20%
– Interface with users, administrative tools, security procedures, vendor interaction, documentation, customer service, POS configuration.
Application Support – 30%
– Configure, administer, and support retail software (GKOmniPOS), wireless infrastructure, Active Directory, vendor coordination, risk identification.
Required Skills
PowerShell – scripting experience.
Windows 10 Administration – configuration, patching.
Networking – configuration, troubleshooting.
POS – experience desirable.
SaaS background – highly desired.
Preferred Skills
POS (Point of Service) experience – nice to have.
Vendor coordination – nice to have.
