Location: Lake Forest, California
Pay range: $115,000 – $165,000 annualized (depending on experience, credentials, and licenses)

Position Summary We are seeking a
Manager
to join our
Forensic Accounting and Litigation Support
practice. This role offers an opportunity to take ownership of complex assignments, supervise staff, and work directly with partners and clients in litigation, bankruptcy, and valuation engagements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead forensic accounting and litigation support engagements, from planning to deliverable.
Oversee and review financial analyses, tracing, and damage calculations.
Supervise and mentor staff accountants and senior staff, ensuring technical accuracy and professional growth.
Prepare, review, and present expert report schedules and exhibits for partner and attorney review.
Communicate directly with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders in litigation and bankruptcy matters.
Support business valuations, bankruptcy analyses, and other consulting projects as needed.
Contribute to firm‑wide initiatives, process improvements, and staff development.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA license required (or active California CPA eligibility in process).
5–8 years of progressive experience in forensic accounting, litigation support, or public accounting.
Strong working knowledge of financial statements, accounting systems, and investigative procedures.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; QuickBooks experience preferred.
Exceptional writing and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated leadership ability, professionalism, and dependability.
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in bankruptcy, receivership, or restructuring matters.
CFF, CFE, or other forensic credentials (or willingness to obtain).
Experience managing staff and client relationships within a professional services firm.
