Workday HCM / HRIS Specialist (3 months contract)

Location:

Fremont, CA

Responsibilities

Serve as the system ticket handler, resolving issues across Workday HCM, Benefits, Payroll, and in‑house HR systems.

Provide support during annual open enrollment, including testing, configuration checks, and data validation.

Partner with HR, Benefits, and Payroll teams to troubleshoot and resolve employee inquiries.

Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support HR and compliance needs.

Assist with system testing, documentation, and process enhancements.

Identify recurring system issues and recommend process improvements.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience

2+ years of Workday HCM / HRIS experience, with knowledge of Benefits and Payroll modules.

Prior experience in ticket handling and HRIS system support.

Workday HCM, Benefits, Reporting Pro certification strongly preferred.

Skills

Workday HCM, Benefits, and Payroll expertise.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Hands‑on experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, and dashboards.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.

Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
