Ultimate Staffing is seeking an HRIS/HCM Specialist to join a client in Fremont. This is a 3 month contract position with the potential to extend. The position is 100% onsite. Hours for the role are Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. This role will support and enhance company HR systems, with a focus on Workday HCM, Benefits, and Payroll. This role is essential in ensuring system integrity, timely issue resolution, and delivering accurate reporting to support business decisions. Manage and resolve system support tickets related to Workday HCM, Benefits, Payroll, and internal HR systems. Collaborate with HR, Benefits, and Payroll teams to investigate and resolve employee system inquiries. Process benefits packages in Workday. Support the annual benefits open enrollment process through configuration review, testing, and data validation. Design, develop, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to meet business and compliance requirements. Participate in system testing, documentation, and process improvement initiatives. Identify patterns in recurring issues and recommend solutions to improve system efficiency and user experience. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Analysis, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM or other HRIS platforms. Working knowledge of Workday Benefits and Payroll modules. Proven track record in HRIS ticket management and system support. Workday certifications (HCM, Benefits, Reporting Pro) highly desirable. Strong expertise in Workday HCM, including Benefits and Payroll functionality. Proficient in building Workday reports, calculated fields, and dashboards. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
