Overview The Media Supervisor (Planning & Strategy) is the day‑to‑day lead for end‑to‑end media planning and strategy. They translate digital media objectives into communication plan development, manage the team through projects, and serve as the primary point of contact for client stewardship requests.

Responsibilities

Assist the Associate Director with all aspects of digital media plan development and recommendations.

Collaborate with the Associate Director and cross‑functional teams to develop and present reporting deliverables, including performance summaries, actionable insights and optimization recommendations.

Interpret communications/digital media strategy and translate into communication planning action steps.

Oversee and manage the team, as well as the day‑to‑day operation of all media activity.

Demonstrate initiative by researching and identifying valuable information/insights to improve media product.

Determine and supervise the best possible implementation of all approved communication plans and projects.

Act as primary point of contact for client stewardship requests.

Learn and understand all phases of the client’s marketing objectives and provide media recommendations to deliver against these objectives.

Understand all proprietary research tools/processes and apply learning during communication planning.

Prepare and present communication plans, as needed, including objectives, strategy, rationale and all backup materials.

Establish strong working relationship with partner agencies (where/when applicable), delivering a seamless communications process.

Demonstrate agility via multitasking multiple brands, strategic development and plan stewardship, management of Associate(s).

Develop collaborative working relationship with all implementation teams, ensuring they fully understand brand communication objectives/strategies.

Train and develop the Associate(s) and Planner(s).

Participate in MDS Training offerings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).

4–6 years of digital media planning experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize and organize projects for self and team.

Excellent understanding of media fundamentals.

Demonstrated ability in training and leadership skills.

Provides an energy level that brings new and exciting ideas to the planning function.

Compensation Range: $73,910 – $116,380/annually. The pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
