Job Overview F&B Coordinator – Banquets and Events at Highgate Hotels (Denver, CO)

Hourly: $22.00 per hour. Applications accepted 10/10/2025 – 10/24/2025.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary point of contact for guest communication, delivering polished and personalized service.

Manage inbound guest inquiries, including reservation coordination and event attendance.

Coordinate communication for recurring guest events: email invitations, RSVP tracking, and reminders.

Support the guest process by responding to new inquiries and assisting with application follow‑up.

Maintain accurate guest profiles and preferences, ensuring up‑to‑date contact details and notes.

Coordinate food and beverage options and audio‑visual or entertainment services with the Director of Restaurants.

Discuss payment methods, including deposit for reservations.

Maintain a calendar of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for the Food and Beverage team.

Communicate 72 hours prior to events to discuss attendee numbers and changes.

Attend daily pre‑shift meetings and participate in training sessions.

Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of employees and guests.

Strong listening, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.

Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

Attend all hotel‑required meetings and training.

Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.

Comply with hotel standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.

Maximize productivity and assist in implementing solutions.

Handle problems, including anticipating, preventing, and solving issues as necessary.

Ability to cross‑train in other hotel‑related areas.

Maintain confidentiality of information.

High School diploma or equivalent; at least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
