IT Technician – PS MIA
Job Overview
PS is a luxury hospitality company building private terminals for commercial flights at major U.S. airports. The IT Technician will keep corporate computer systems and network devices in top working order, providing support and troubleshooting to PS team members across multiple locations. Responsibilities
Act as an extension of the PSHQ IT department, ensuring all corporate IT policies, procedures, and security measures are implemented. Perform system installation, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for all PS corporate technologies including workstations, mobile devices, office applications, IAM, POS, VOIP, and AV systems. Provide basic network management, including installation, monitoring, maintenance, and security. Maintain exemplary customer service and support for PS employees, updating and documenting tickets as they are resolved. Track, manage, and maintain IT hardware and software throughout the lifecycle. Act as onsite representative and liaison for PSHQ IT department when working with external vendors and internal stakeholders. Collaborate on corporate IT projects during development and post deployment to ensure systems meet expected outcomes. Create and maintain documentation of procedures, configurations, and runbooks. Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment. Maintain local server room and IT workplace. Work weekends, holidays, and after hours as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Technical Skills
Experience in IT Service Management and ITIL framework. Hands‑on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Freshservice. Proficiency with core operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS). Basic networking concepts: IP configuration, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS. Hardware configuration, installation, and troubleshooting. Core Microsoft Office applications. Licenses: A+, Network+ highly preferred. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. 2-3 years’ experience in a corporate customer service environment. Strong knowledge of networking concepts such as routing, DNS, DHCP, IP. Willingness to travel to PSHQ or terminal locations as needed. Physical ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
