Role Overview
Your client, a leading Financial Services firm, is seeking a Senior DBA Manager to join the Enterprise Technology Department’s Database Engineering and Migration Team. The role involves leading a team of DBAs in multi‑year migrations of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, and other databases, while overseeing database architecture, performance tuning, and cross‑functional integration.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of DBAs in a multi‑year migration of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, and other databases. Oversee database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization across platforms. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data integrity. Develop and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures. Foster a culture of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience in database administration and architecture. Proven leadership in managing large‑scale database migration projects. Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and DB2. PMP certification is a plus.
