About the Role RIC is seeking a Systems Administrator to serve as the primary IT support for users, ensuring optimal system performance, and handling a wide variety of duties. The ideal candidate adapts to multiple tasks, project deadlines, and changing priorities while maintaining high‑quality service.

Primary Responsibilities

Support the IT Manager and perform assigned duties.

Configure and deploy technology devices.

Manage mobile device management.

Monitor and respond quickly to requests through the helpdesk.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware or software for all users.

Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software resources.

Train end users on technology and software.

Install and maintain file replication on multiple servers.

Monitor servers and plan backup strategies.

Apply the latest patches or updates to operating systems/software.

Set up access control and permissions.

Document desktop equipment failure, repair, installation, and removal.

Assist in long‑term strategy and capacity planning for desktop hardware.

Administer servers, laptops, desktops, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, drivers, phones, security updates, and patches.

Manage Microsoft Azure portal; handle user/group access, permissions, RBAC, and MFA for enterprise systems.

Develop, deploy, and enforce conditional access policies.

Implement security standards and best practices.

Contribute to product vision and roadmap for internal tools supporting customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.

Manage Microsoft 365 and Exchange portals.

Administer SharePoint and Teams.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of equivalent work experience.

Associate degree preferred.

Proficiency with Windows 10, 11, 2019 Server, 2022 Server.

Experience with Entra ID/Intune.

Experience with Microsoft Office.

Familiarity with network equipment.

Experience with SonicWall (plus).

Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation (plus).

Excellent time‑management, multi‑tasking, and prioritization skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to read and understand technical manuals.

Dependable, prompt, self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Continuous learning and knowledge expansion.

Strong communication skills with co‑workers, owners, subconsultants, and clients via phone or face‑to‑face, explaining solutions.

Accountability for completing assignments with minimal supervision.
