RIA Regional Consultant – Northern California, VP II State Street Investment Management is hiring for a distribution role within the Client Coverage Group. In this role you will work with external and internal wholesalers to build relationships with financial advisors in the RIA Channel and provide client solutions to assist advisors in growing their business using SPDR ETFs, model portfolios and other State Street IM solutions. You should be recognized as a reliable and trusted advisor and champion the US Wealth Intermediary distribution efforts with Registered Investment Advisory Firms throughout the Northern California region.

Responsibilities

Own key client and strategic partner relationships as a member of the US Wealth Intermediary Team covering Registered Investment Advisors and local RIA offices throughout Northern California.

Identify client needs and regularly provide market insights, product information, investment ideas and sales support.

Operate as a subject‑matter expert on State Street IM & SPDR ETFs portfolio management, maintaining deep knowledge of positioning, holdings and investment results.

Drive Net New Revenue and Net New Assets with high‑wealth concentration within the channel.

Coordinate travel with sub‑advisory partners and index providers such as World Gold Council, DoubleLine Capital, Blackstone, Bridgewater Associates and Galaxy Asset Management.

Leverage centers of influence and key relationships with custody and TAMP partners such as Charles Schwab, Envestnet and wealth platforms like Ethic.

Build and maintain relationships with internal partners in Sales, Marketing, Research and Client Enablement to deliver State Street IM and SPDR ETF resources.

Mentor internal peers and deliver risk excellence while complying with sales supervision culture and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

Series 7 and 63 licensed.

Investment industry designations such as CFA or CIMA desired.

Minimum 7 years in the investment management industry, with at least 5 years in Sales/Business Development with Registered Investment Advisors.

Strong technical ability and investment acumen.

Strong product knowledge of ETFs, mutual funds, separate accounts and related products.

Self‑motivated individual who can work independently and within a team structure.

Demonstrates integrity, dedication to excellence and motivation to succeed.

Strong leadership skills and extraordinary verbal and written communication and sales presentation skills.

Salary Range $125,000 - $207,500 Annual
