Location and Hybrid Schedule The Manager, Business Growth, Innovation & Advocacy (BGIA) Strategy & Operations will be located in Spring House, PA; Horsham, PA; Titusville, NJ; or Raritan, NJ. This is a hybrid position that requires you to be onsite 3 days a week.
Purpose The Manager, Business Growth, Innovation & Advocacy (BGIA) Strategy & Operations is accountable for managing business operations activities in support of the BGIA organization. Business operations activities may include but are not limited to the following responsibilities: business performance management, resource management, communications, culture and engagement initiatives, continuous improvement activities, and problem solving.
You Will Be Responsible For
Business Performance Management: Collaborate with teams to execute the business operations strategy for BGIA; monitor key metrics, support/lead the development of reports and dashboards aligned with needs to track operational and compliance performance.
Resource Management: Manage resourcing requests to ensure accurate system updates. Screen and provide feedback on incoming requests. Support requests to analyze resource metrics. Facilitate the onboarding of new employees and ensure they are reflected in our resource system.
Communication/Engagement Management: Assist with coordination of the communication plan and Engagement Strategy to ensure active and ongoing engagement and communication within BGIA. Maintain and/or develop processes and tools aimed to support BGIA communication platforms and strategies.
Continuous Improvement Management: Act as business owner for assigned processes. Coordinate the identification, prioritization, tracking, and reporting of various initiatives. May drive initiatives to streamline operational workflows, enhance efficiencies, and drive continuous improvement within Business Operations and BGIA.
Problem Solver: Provide additional support to teams, collaborations, and/or projects as business needs evolve. Work proactively to assess opportunities for increased efficiency and propose and implement new solutions.
Qualifications / Requirements Education
A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience is required.
Required
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Business operations or finance experience.
The ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, and achieve results in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong financial acumen and experience aligning business plans with financial goals.
Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to derive insights and make data‑driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working with global, matrixed teams.
Strategic thinker with the ability to think critically and make data‑driven decisions.
Capacity to handle multiple priorities with urgency.
Ability to harness the full potential of collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, Portals, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated curiosity and interest in developing new skills and knowledge.
Up to 10% travel – Domestic & International.
Preferred
Familiar with data visualization & digital communication tools, internal social communications platforms, and content management systems.
Experience in large complex organizations within pharmaceutical/biotech industry is highly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits The anticipated base pay range for this position is $115,000 to $197,800.
Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (401(k)).
Time Off Benefits
Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year.
Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year.
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year.
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year.
