Job Overview & Essential Functions
Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a New Truck Regional Sales Manager. The New Truck Regional Sales Manager plans and directs New Truck marketing activities of assigned branches. Assists in recruiting highly skilled New Truck sales personnel for assigned branches. Develops and trains New Truck sales personnel to ensure company objectives are met. Position requires complete knowledge of all the Company’s products, services, and policies.
Evaluates assigned New Truck Departments’ performance against established targets and standards; communicates appropriate action to Branch Manager and Regional Vice President – General Manager as necessary.
Maintains consistent contact with New Truck sales staff to better understand customer requirements; keeps current on market and customer trends to fulfill demand and balance new truck inventory applications.
Identifies and helps profile prospective customers, develops, and applies marketing strategies necessary to achieve business plan forecasts.
Stays appraised of competitive activity and new truck market demand.
Attends training and industry functions as necessary to keep informed of market trend opportunities and contacts within the industry.
Recruits, trains, and assists in developing sales personnel.
Assists in coordinating activities of other departments to achieve full penetration of assigned territories.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
Knowledge of the retail market.
Sales and management training.
Must have strong interpersonal skills.
Must be willing to travel.
Experience in recruiting, hiring and developing of qualified sales personnel.
Must be Company/Team minded.
CDL preferred.
