Payroll Administrator

This position is responsible for ensuring employees are paid timely and accurately.
Ensure bi‑weekly payroll is processed accurately with limited issues for the organization.
Responsible for facilities payroll to ensure all employees are paid accurately, process new hires, increases and changes in ADP, reports are submitted timely and audits are completed as requested.
Processing manual checks for distribution.
Follow and calculate all outside wage garnishments requests or judgments when required on an individual’s paycheck.
Answer questions regarding paychecks, withholdings tax issues or wage adjustments from employees and help troubleshoot possible issues with pay.
Manage and maintain employee’s accruals are accurate.
Report to department head regarding daily activities and issues.
Address and resolve employee complaints relating to the payroll system.
Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, and other data as needed.
Ensure all government reporting requirements are submitted timely.
Conduct training for new employees.
Verify and process W2’s.
Multi site management.
Attention to detail.
Works independently and holds others accountable.
Qualifications
2 or more years of experience in payroll, preferable in a long‑term care organization.
Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws.
Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office and Excel.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
Must have knowledge of ADP Workforce and E‑Time/Kronos.
Experience in UKG a plus.
Requirements
