Job Details The City of Plano’s BEST Neighborhoods Division is looking for an innovative individual who is resourceful, driven, and has a heart to serve. The day‑to‑day may start with developing promotional material for an upcoming outreach event, meeting with a group of residents wanting to start a neighborhood group, and following up on a potential strategic partnership opportunity.
Hiring range: $57,816 – $72,270 depending on qualifications.
Responsibilities Develop promotional material for outreach events.
Meet with residents to support neighborhood group formation.
Follow up on partnership opportunities.
Collaborate with BEST Neighborhoods division team and partner agencies.
Coordinate event logistics and community engagement activities.
Qualifications
Experience in community outreach or event planning.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of Plano community resources is a plus.

Flexible start time 7:30 a.m., 8:00 a.m., or 8:30 a.m.
