We are currently seeking a hands‑on and proactive  HR Advisor  to join our team at  Yanmar’s Electrification Unit (Eleo Technologies B.V.) . In this role, you’ll be the trusted partner for managers and employees in Helmond, the Netherlands and Aachen, Germany, supporting the full spectrum of HR activities, from recruitment and employee relations to learning & development and compensation & benefits.
The HR Advisor supports and advises management of the business in the implementation of all related HR issues within the framework of established HR policies, rules, and regulations in order to ensure adequate staffing of the assigned unit.

The Electrification Unit focuses on developing a diverse portfolio of e‑powertrain technologies, including batteries and eDrives, to electrify applications such as excavators, wheel loaders, and other industrial machinery.

Your key responsibilities   HR Advice and Operations
Provide clear and practical guidance to managers and employees on the application of HR policies, procedures, tools, and work instructions.
Support management and staff in handling sensitive situations such as sickness cases, disciplinary actions, underperformance, employee complaints, and other employee relations matters.
Ensure smooth execution of core HR processes including recruitment, training and development, salary structures, compensation and benefits, performance management, and health & safety programs.
Safeguard compliance with labor legislation and company rules.
Contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of the HR annual plan and budget for the assigned unit.
Recruitment
Partner with managers to identify hiring needs and support the full recruitment process, from selection through to hiring.
Oversee the timely and accurate administration of employment contracts.
Learning & Development
Advise on and implement effective training and development programs to strengthen employee skills and performance.
Assess employee development needs and maintain accurate administration of training plans and outcomes.
Compensation & Benefits
Communicate job descriptions, grading structures, and salary bands clearly to managers and employees, ensuring transparency and internal equity.
Provide information and guidance on company benefits, ensuring employees understand and value the packages available to them.
Advise managers on salary proposals and wage decisions for employees (excluding senior management).
Inform and control external payroll regarding salary changes.
Management Information
Deliver HR insights and data analyses, both periodically and on request, to support management in decision‑making.
Prepare reports for external stakeholders as required.
Reporting line
This position  reports to the Business Support Manager , with a  strong functional line to the local Head of the Electrification Unit .
Requirements & Qualifications   Bachelor’s degree in  HR, Business Administration, or related field .
5+ years of experience  in an HR generalist/advisory role.
Solid knowledge of  Dutch labor law  (German HR knowledge is a plus).
Fluent in  Dutch and English  (other languages are a bonus).
A proactive, hands‑on approach and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills and a talent for building relationships.

A competitive salary, with a range between  €4,500 – €5,250 gross per month
An  8% holiday allowance , on top of 12 monthly salaries
35 vacation days per year , including a collective company closure between Christmas and New Year’s Eve
Travel allowance  for commuting of €0.23 per kilometer or an NS Business Card for public transport
Pension plan  via Centraal Beheer with a 7.5% contribution
