Overview We are seeking an experienced FP&A Consultant who will deliver financial analysis and insights to inform strategic decisions across the business. This full‑time consulting role is remote (MST hours) and requires candidates to live in the U.S. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The consultant will work closely with senior leadership, providing critical input into budgeting, forecasting, decision‑support initiatives, and ongoing development of the company’s financial strategy.

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.

Develop management reports that highlight performance against key metrics and analyze trends and variances.

Lead the annual budgeting and strategic planning process, collaborating with business units to consolidate budget inputs.

Develop and maintain complex financial forecasting models and monitor actual performance against budgets/forecasts, recommending corrective actions.

Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insights, ad‑hoc financial modeling, profitability analysis, and cost‑benefit analysis.

Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the financial impact of strategic decisions, evaluate device and investment assets, and present “what‑if” models to guide decision‑making.

Support key strategic projects by conducting ROI analysis and providing actionable insights.

Contribute to continuous improvement of internal FP&A processes, including financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting, and implement best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Utilize financial systems and data analytics tools to enhance financial reporting and forecasting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is required.

CPA or CFA certification is preferred.

7–10 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, financial consulting, or financial management.

Experience in broadband, telecom, cable, or internet is desired.

Advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and interpretation of complex data to derive meaningful insights.

Strong understanding of investment in network, assets, devices, and supply chain lifecycle.

Proficiency in accounting and finance principles and advanced use of Microsoft Excel.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior management and non‑financial stakeholders.

Detail oriented, adaptable to change, and focused on accuracy, completeness, and quality of financial data and analysis.

Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a large corporate environment.

Compensation For individuals hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The expected salary is $120,000–$150,000 annually for a 12+ month consulting engagement.
