This role is a hybrid position. Some roles require an office while others may be done remotely. What You'll Do Strategic Leadership & Transformation
Define and champion the strategic roadmap for marketing transformation, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation across all marketing functions.
Lead complex change initiatives, inspiring adoption and ensuring successful integration of new processes, technologies, and methodologies.
Collaborate closely with marketing leadership to align operational initiatives with overall business objectives and drive a data‑driven culture.
Anticipate future marketing trends and technologies, advising on investments and capabilities needed to maintain Sonos' competitive edge in the sound industry.
Marketing Effectiveness & Measurement
Oversee the development and implementation of robust measurement frameworks to evaluate the ROI of marketing campaigns and initiatives using econometrics models (MMM), incrementality solutions and modern attribution.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging insights to optimize marketing spend and resource allocation.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure marketing efforts are delivering tangible business outcomes.
Marketing Analytics & Insights
Lead Marketing Analytics initiatives by generating deep, actionable insights from diverse data sources, informing strategic decisions and tactical optimizations.
Ensure the integrity and accessibility of marketing data, working to integrate various data platforms for a holistic view of customer journeys and campaign performance.
Present complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to senior leadership and cross‑functional partners.
Marketing Operations & Process Optimization
Provide leadership and guidance to the Manager, Marketing Operations, ensuring the seamless execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Identify and implement best practices for marketing technology (MarTech) stack utilization, automation, and workflow efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement in marketing processes, from campaign planning to execution and reporting, ensuring scalability and compliance.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team across Marketing Effectiveness, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Operations.
Foster a collaborative and empowering environment that encourages innovation, professional growth, and accountability.
Manage resource allocation and workload across the teams to ensure optimal performance and delivery against priorities.
What you'll need
8-10+ years of experience in roles focused on marketing operations, marketing analytics, or marketing effectiveness, with at least 3+ years in a leadership position overseeing multiple functions or significant initiatives.
Demonstrated success in leading and implementing significant marketing transformation initiatives and delivering measurable business impact.
Proficiency in marketing measurement, including attribution modeling and campaign performance analysis.
Strong understanding of marketing technology ecosystems (CRMs, DMPs, analytics platforms, marketing automation tools) and their application to optimize marketing efforts.
Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Excellent leadership and team development capabilities, with proven experience managing and mentoring diverse teams.
Superior communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
A master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus, but not required.
Experience in the consumer electronics or technology industry is a bonus.
Hands‑on knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) use cases for business and marketing.
Previous experience championing data privacy and compliance across marketing initiatives, ensuring adherence to global regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, LGPD) and emerging AI‑specific privacy frameworks to build trust and mitigate risk.

The base pay range for this role based off geographic location is: $145,000 and $181,700. The specific pay offered will depend on the candidate’s geographic location, as well as qualifications and experience. We apply geographic pay differentials based on the cost of labor in the market. Employees in high‑cost locations may be compensated at the upper end of the range, while those in medium or low cost markets may be compensated at the lower end of the range.
