IT Manager, Technical Product Owner
Johnson & Johnson seeks an IT Manager, Technical Product Owner located in Raritan, New Jersey. Remote US candidates considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
Overview As an integral member of a high‑performance team, the IT Manager and Technical Product Owner will develop and own the strategic vision, prioritization, and deployment of IT infrastructure and digital products to support MedTech Education business capabilities. This role will serve as the Technical Product Owner for Event Management and HCP Contracting technology products, driving the product vision and setting priorities with business partners. Continuous support to enhance process efficiencies, reliability, and cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership – Own Event Management and HCP Contracting technology products; end‑to‑end digital ecosystem and integration.
Product Vision and Strategy – Communicate roadmap, shape backlog, craft business cases.
Product Management – Collaborate with Product/Platform managers; prioritize investments, maintain backlog and roadmap; Agile ceremonies.
Operational Excellence – Drive technology improvements, reliability metrics, SLA compliance, demand management.
Talent Development – Establish performance goals, professional development, learning culture.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a relevant field.
5+ years in a technology leadership role, with experience in Medical Technology domain.
Proficient in digital product management lifecycle, backlog management, user story definition.
Experience managing vendor partners and supporting complex technical systems.
Familiarity with MS Dynamics 365, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint; Agile SDLC.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ability to influence in a matrix organization.
Preferred
Experience with Cvent.
Supervisory or people management experience.
Experience design and design thinking methodologies.
Sound organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits Base pay range: $100,000 to $172,500. Eligible for annual performance bonus. Benefit programs include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement (401(k)), vacation (up to 120 hours per year), sick time (up to 40 hours per year).
