Advance Community Healthcare, a FQHC, is expanding our services and we are recruiting for an Obstetrician‑Gynecologist (OB‑GYN) who will provide women’s health services according to the guideline established by the American College of OB/GYN (ACOG) and section 330 of the Public Health Services Act under Title X Family Planning Services.
The OBGYN Physician will provide comprehensive primary to an ethnically and socially diverse, female patient population in accordance with the values, beliefs and policies of Advance Community Health.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Experience with group prenatal care programming is desired, but not required.
Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results.
Conduct physical examinations by performing routine obstetric and gynecological office procedures and follow up all abnormal pap smears.
Order and interpret the results of laboratory, x‑ray, and other tests.
Perform routine office‑based obstetric and gynecological procedures including colposcopy and endometrial biopsies, etc.
Determine and implement appropriate courses of treatment.
Provide treatment plans and prescribe medications for issues/diseases of the female organs.
Provide care and treatment during prenatal and postnatal periods.
Monitor results of treatment, changing as necessary.
Maintain accurate, complete records that comply with contracts and/or Advance Community Health policies.
Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
Confer with student and resident physicians and other professional and support staff regarding care and treatment of patients and assist/mentor them in management of illness; serve as a resource to resolve patient/family concerns.
Monitor and ensure compliance with clinical evidence‑based guidelines for adult health care.
Have the ability to develop positive rapport with patients and families to foster the physician/patient relationship.
Immunize patients from communicable diseases.
Advise and refer patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of diseases.
Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners for specialized treatment.
Other Duties Assigned
Perform related duties as required.
Education and Experience
Medical Degree or D.O. from an accredited school with a valid NC License to practice medicine, federal DEA and NPI.
Must be Board Eligible/ Board Certified Physician.
Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records system preferred.
Completed residency training in OB/GYN at an ACGME accredited school.
